There are a handful of cat breeds that have very long legs, mostly purebred cats. Some of these include the Oriental Shorthair, Savannah, Abyssinian, and Chausie. Mixes of these breeds are also likely to have longer legs and lithe bodies.
Cobby. The cobby type is comprised of a compact body, a deep chest, short legs, and a broad head. This cat’s eyes are large and round. Cobby breeds appear heavy-set due to their short and wide bodies, but that doesn’t necessarily mean they’re fat. Cat breeds considered in the Cobby category include Persians and Manx.
There are two main causes for a skinny cat: Either they aren’t eating enough, or they’re expending more calories than they are taking in. They may not be eating enough due to stress, dental disease, nausea or a host of other reasons.

Perhaps the cat that looks most like a lion is the Maine Coon. Originating from the United States, while they won’t quite reach the size of a fully-grown lion, the Maine Coon is the largest domestic cat breed in the world. Some can weigh over twenty pounds.
The Manx is a rounded cat with a round head, round eyes, a roundness at the whisker pads, and a round rump. The ears form a rocker shape when viewed from behind. The hind end of the Manx is higher than the front, which is apparent when she is standing.

Are Manx Cats Rare? Manx cats are not necessarily rare. However, they are definitely not as common as other breeds, such as the American Shorthair or the Scottish Fold. On the other hand, an all-white Manx is quite a rare find.
The albino cat is the rarest color pattern of all. To get an albino cat, you need parent cats with two recessive genes and the offspring must receive both.
Appearance. Chartreux feature short gray coats; sweet, round faces; and glimmering copper-color eyes. These cats have large, muscular bodies with short, slight limbs, and they’ve been lovingly referred to as a “potato on toothpicks.” These cats typically weigh 6–12 pounds and stand 9–11 inches tall.

To identify a Norwegian forest cat, look for a cat with a long coat and thick tufts of hair around its neck, face, and thighs. Also, look for a cat with almond-shaped eyes that are green, gold, copper, or blue. If its eyes are round, it might be a Maine Coone instead of a Norwegian forest cat.
You can monitor your cat’s muscle condition as you pet her, noting how easy it is to feel the bumps along her spine and the bones of her hips. These should not be palpable (felt) on the average healthy cat.

A skinny or boney cat may be suffering from a medical condition or serious disease that is just starting to manifest itself. These illnesses include cancer, diabetes mellitus, hyperthyroidism, kidney disease, and multiple organ failure.
Tigers. Tigers (Panthera tigris) are the biggest species of cat. That’s three times heavier than the heaviest puma.
The term “big cats” covers the members of the pantherinae and felinae families. Big cats include cheetahs, cougars, lynx, lions, tigers, jaguars, leopards, and snow leopards. Out of these big cats, cheetahs are the friendliest towards humans.
Without doubt, they are one of the breeds which most look like tigers. They appeared for the first time in the year 1986. These cats are active, agile and curious. They maintain great physical similarity to wild cats, but their character is much closer to that of the Domestic cat breed.
The Highlander cat is also known as the Highlander Shorthair or Highland Lynx. It was developed in the 2000s using the Desert Lynx and other domestic cats. These are large cats that look very much like their Lynx forebears, especially with their curled and tufted ears, a bobbed tail and the tabby coloring and patterns.
